Dear staff at The Suites,

Every now and then a group assembled that exceeds the best about mankind. From qualifications to merits of service, you have demonstrated qualities that are beyond what is expected of you. Quality of service and character of each person is exceeded only by their love and caring for ‘Connie’.

The Lord and management have assembled a wonderful group of people to represent The Suites. Angie and I want you to know that it has not gone unnoticed. We are so very grateful to have such servitude and custody for our loved one.

We thank you from our hearts,

Angie and Jerry E.

Dear staff at The Suites:

I am writing to express my deep appreciation for the care administered to my Mother during the more than two years that she resided in your community, especially the last two months of her life.

The caregivers at The Suites were always kind, considerate, and loving…but the care she received in her final weeks, days, and hours was truly a blessing.  Mom became totally dependent upon you for comfort, cleanliness, and overall care.  Her final hours were filled with love and care by these dedicated professionals.  My husband and I were also treated with much kindness and respect by the caregivers as well as management.

Please express our heartfelt thanks to caregivers, the kitchen staff, and management for the loving support they all provided Mom.  You all really went “beyond the call”.

Most Sincerely,

Sue G.

Hi Jen,

You know, it has been just about 21 months since my mother and father moved into the Suites. I can't tell you (and I don't know if you remember) what a chaotic, painful, difficult time it was. My father was in Royal Gardens recouping from going into a diabetic coma and my mother was totally beside herself - out of her mind with grief - since my sister's suicide. My father's doctor said he wouldn't release dad back to his home - that dad had to be in an assisted living facility. Mom had been self medicating (always an adventure) for several months with Xanax, sleeping pills, pain medications, over the counter anything - desperate to numb herself from feeling ANYTHING.
With the help of the wonderful staff at the Suites, I was able to physically move mom and dad from their home into the Suites.

The first few months were extremely difficult. Mom was unhappy and resentful. I believe with every fiber of my being that either one or both of my parents would be dead by now if it wasn't for the fabulous care they receive at The Suites. Mom has friends - women who care for her, check up on her - she hasn't had this kind of community since she stopped working several years ago.

Dad, well he's a different story. He says The Suites is the best place he's ever lived. He's very happy there.

From the bottom of heart I thank you and the staff at The Suites. Mom has settled in and we've had some very sweet times together. I'm not ready for them to go but when they do I know they will have had the best care possible - and that by living at The Suites, I have been given the opportunity to be their daughter again - not their caretaker.

With a grateful heart,

Patti
